Must haves:

Experience in developing with the Oracle technology stack, including Database, APEX, SQL, PL/SQL.

Experience in:

Developing and maintaining complex applications

Developing custom interfaces and building externally facing REST Web Service based APIs

Using AI tools, such as CoPilot, to enhance developer productivity

Be able to demonstrate:

Good time management, problem solving skills, and focus on the task at hand

Ability to conform to existing standards and a proven framework

Ability to stay current with the latest technology trends

Adoption of AI tools in development - code insight, generation, co-development, documentation

Willingness to participate in a collaborative working environment to share knowledge and innovate.

Nice to haves:

Experience in Oracle Forms and Reports

Experience in reverse engineering / extracting business logic from client side applications

Experience in any of the following types of projects:

Applications Modernisation - Forms to APEX

Deployment of API Platforms via Oracle REST Data Services

Exposure to Agile, JIRA, Confluence and / or Jenkins.

Personal skills required:

Strong desire to get involved, get your hands dirty, test and troubleshoot.

Good communication skills.

Initiative to research and compare solutions for tasks.

Resourcefulness to complete complex tasks thoroughly.

Ability to work independently and in team environments.

Reporting to the Research & Development Manager you will be part of a dedicated team focussing on our Applications Modernisation Initiative.
