As a Field Ranger (Driver), you will be driving around Townsville, assisting with deploying & relocating our company e-scooters. The role will involve using a smart device to locate the e-scooters, driving through city areas, collecting e-scooters in & out of the van/truck, swapping batteries and assisting with basic repairs when required. This unique role blends driving with a positive community impact by optimally positioning e- scooters compliant with council parking regulations. Thus, providing an awesome community and rider experience.

Hours: Every Friday and Saturday evening from 5 pm - 11 pm, OR Friday, Saturday, and weekday afternoons into the evening

Pay Rate:
Day work (6am-6pm): $31.23
Night work (6pm-6am): $37.47
Saturday’s + Sunday’s: $43.72, $56.21

Responsibilities:
- Assist with e-scooter deployment and retrieval
- Operate from one of our vans or trucks around Townsville
- Work with a team to operate a van to redistribute products as required
- Use smart device applications to locate and operate devices
- Respond to various tasks as they are assigned
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- A team environment where safety and quality are a priority
- Troubleshoot technical issues on site
- Work with field rangers (on foot) to optimize efficiency

Requirements:
- Over the age of 25 (for vehicle insurance purposes)
- Experience driving a van in the town
- Full, unrestricted Australian driver license with a clean record
- Tech Savvy is preferred
- Ability to be very active and bend and lift up to 8 kg frequently
- A great attitude and ability to work well with others, teamwork is key to success!
- Comfortable working alone
- Previous delivery, mechanical, logistics, and inventory experience is a bonus
- Knowledge of local area geography and street layout preferred but not required.
- Comfortable with using an app to locate e-scooters
