JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Massage Therapist at Calm Studio Massage, you'll have the opportunity to transform people's lives through the power of touch and healing. Your role goes beyond massage; it's about providing an unforgettable experience and helping our clients achieve true relaxation, balance and education.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients receive a 5 star experience and excellent customer service. The role includes the following responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Elevate with Expertise: Deliver exceptional Premium Massage Services that will have our clients coming back for more. Your skill and warm nature will make all the difference.

Efficiency is Key: Utilize Acuity scheduling to manage appointments seamlessly, ensuring that clients can rebook with ease.

Create Ease: Process sales transactions through our POS system with accuracy and efficiency.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS:

Experience Matters!

You bring value with either:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in massage therapy, showcasing your mastery.

OR

Any certification in Massage Therapy with at least 1 year of hands-on experience.

Be available on Weekends: Your presence is crucial on Fridays and/or Saturdays, so clients can relax on their weekends.

Have a Flexible Schedule: Embrace the flexibility of working 1-2 days per week between Thursday and Saturday, making it perfect for work-life balance.

Be Reliable as a Foundation: Our clients depend on us, and we depend on you. You must be punctual and reliable - it's what sets us apart.

You're Eager to Grow: We're not just about massage; we're about expanding your horizons as a therapist to a potential practitioner. Show us your willingness to learn and adapt to new massage techniques, treatments and therapies. You may be given the opportunity to offer Ayurvedic Consultations, become a Therapist Trainer or be promoted to leadership roles in our team.

The Gift of Touch: You can have years of experience as a therapist, but the gift of ‘touch’ is one that cannot be trained. You must hold a natural gift of touch.

Be Trauma-Informed:

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our clients, including those who may have experienced trauma. Therefore, we require our team members to be trauma-informed, with an understanding of how to approach and support clients who may have unique emotional and physical needs related to their past experiences.
