What you'll do:

🧠 Support clients with mental health conditions before Local and Supreme Courts

🤝 Collaborate with lawyers to develop trauma-informed bail and sentencing plans

🏡 Help clients reintegrate post-release, connecting them with housing, NDIS and mental health supports

📈 Build stakeholder relationships, identify service gaps, and contribute to systemic reform

🛫 Travel to bush courts (including overnight stays) to deliver outreach services.

What we’re looking for:

✔ Qualified Social Worker eligible for AASW membership and clinical supervision

✔ Strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture, mental health systems, and justice issues

✔ Proven experience in complex casework, risk assessment, and client advocacy

✔ Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate with influence

✔ Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to remote communities.
