Ultratune Auto Service Centre Slacks Creek is a family owned business with a small but friendly team! We provide vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostic, tires, air conditioning, vehicle batteries and safety certificates.

Our business is growing and we have we have a great opportunity for an experienced motor mechanic to join our busy team.

Tasks & responsibilities

Perform thorough diagnostics, testing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles

Perform logbook service and routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and wheel alignments

Test and inspect vehicles to identify and address any problems; replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients

Ensure the workshop is kept clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards

Inspect vehicles for safety certificates

Manage parts inventory and place orders as needed.

Utilize computer and tablet applications to access job cards, timesheets, and scan tools for diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Qualifications & experience

Relevant Qualifications or equivalent

Possess a valid Drivers License

Minimum 1 year relevant work experience required

High attention to detail and producing quality workmanship

Exceptional technical and product knowledge, diagnosis and repair skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in using computer and tablet applications.

Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Future development to a 2IC possible as we are looking to grow our team out.
