About Huntley Home Care
Huntley Home Care is a growing boutique home care provider based in Burpengary East. We deliver personalised in-home support through the Home Care Package program, with a strong focus on clinical care, wellness, and community connection. We work closely with The Hub Medical Centre and trusted allied health professionals to ensure high-quality, coordinated care for our clients.
The Role
This hybrid position is ideal for a Clinical and Community Nurse who enjoys a mix of direct client care and clinical oversight. You’ll deliver nursing services in the home while contributing to the quality and compliance of our clinical systems.
Community Nursing Responsibilities
Wound care and dressing changes
Diabetes management (education & BGL monitoring)
Medication administration and reviews
Continence and catheter care
Post-hospital discharge support
Health and risk assessments
Care plan creation and reviews
Participation in Home Care Package (HCP) reviews
Client and family education
Liaison with GPs, pharmacies, and allied health
Clinical Responsibilities
Reviewing and improving clinical policies and procedures
Participating in incident management and audits
Mentoring and supporting care staff
Ensuring compliance with aged care legislation and clinical standards
Participating in quality assurance activities, assisting with clinical audits, and supporting policy development and continuous improvement
Supporting compliance with aged care legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards, and internal care protocols

What You’ll Bring
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years’ experience (community or aged care preferred)
Confidence in delivering the above nursing tasks
Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
Excellent time management and documentation skills
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children (WWC) Check
Current Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Current Driver’s Licence
Access to a vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance
What We Offer
Full-time role, Monday to Friday (8:00am–4:00pm)
Monthly on-call week (allowance paid)
Travel allowance

Remuneration
• $47.57 per hour (Nurses Award 2020 – Registered Nurse Level 2, 3+ years' experience)
• On-call allowance paid separately in line with the Award
• Personal vehicle allowance paid separately when using your own car, in accordance with the Award
