About the role

PROTECTIVE PLASTICS' is seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Worker to join our plastics manufacturing facility in Marcoola, QLD. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art plastic moulding equipment to produce high-quality plastic products. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

What you'll be doing

Operate and monitor plastic moulding and CNC machines to ensure efficient and consistent production

Perform quality checks on finished products and identify any defects or issues

Assist with the set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of plastic moulding equipment

Maintain a clean and organised work area to support a safe and productive environment

Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and optimize efficiency

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in plastics processing

Ability to read and interpret production specifications, drawings, and work orders

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow instructions

Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations
