About the role

Westside Radiology is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our dynamic team in Broken Hill, Far West NSW. As a Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, utilising your expertise to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

This role can be adapted to part-time, week-on-week off, or fly-in fly-out basis if preferred.

What you'll be doing

Perform a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans

Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained throughout all procedures

Liaise with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient management

Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or a related field

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sonographer, with a demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

Proficient in the use of ultrasound equipment and imaging software

Registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
