About the role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Cadet Urban & Regional Planner to join our dynamic team at PBS Planning & Building Certifiers Pty Ltd in South Plympton, SA. This is a full-time role (flexible around study) where you will play a key part in providing planning services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the receival and lodgment of development applications

Undertaking planning assessments for a wide range of projects

Contributing to the preparation of planning reports and other planning documentation

Liaising with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver successful planning outcomes

Providing research and GIS support to inform the planning process

Participating in site visits and meetings with clients

Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver high-quality services to our clients

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree (or near completion) in Urban & Regional Planning or a related discipline

Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Proficiency in using GIS software and other planning tools

Knowledge of South Australian planning legislation and development processes

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
