The role

Reporting directly to the founders and working closely with Senior Management and the Board of Directors, you will bring the organisation's financial operations in-house and build a Finance team to support this. You will also play a critical role in providing strategic financial insights to guide decision-making and contribute to the organisation's growth.

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and provide in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities and risks
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, provide detailed variance analysis and develop and implement cash flow management strategies
• Establish and implement robust internal controls, ensure compliance with all statutory, financial regulations and tax requirements and liaise with external auditors and regulators
• Contribute to strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations and identifying business efficiencies and operational improvements
• Build, manage and develop the finance team

Ideal skills and experience

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - able to confidently partner with Senior Management, Board of Directors and non-finance stakeholders
• Relevant experience across financial control, FP&A and decision support
• Previous team leadership experience
• Experience in startup or growth stage organisations is highly regarded
• Tech/Fintech experience is highly regarded
• CA/CPA qualification
