Brisbane City Used Cars is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Reconditioning Mechanic to lead our Reconditioning Operations & Service Centre (ROSC) team.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a skilled technician with experience in the used car space who can ensure vehicles are reconditioned to a high standard efficiently and safely ready for retail.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading the reconditioning process for used vehicle inventory

Diagnosing and performing mechanical repairs and servicing

Coordinating repair timelines to meet sales readiness deadlines

Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and road tests

Liaising with sales and service teams on reconditioning priorities

Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and dealership standards

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Automotive Technician (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)

Previous experience in used vehicle reconditioning is essential

Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a range of makes and models

Proven ability to manage workflow and work unsupervised

A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Valid driver’s licence
