The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, this role will be responsible for the financial and management accounting and business partnering for a number of business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• General ledger, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Profit & loss reporting for various business units.
• Preparation of grant and financial acquittals.
• Tax compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Month end review, commentary, reporting and analysis on programs and service level agreements.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering across departments.
• Provide financial support to the transactional accounting and payroll teams.
• Drive improvements through automation and streamlined processes.

About You

The ideal candidate will be a technically strong, CPA/CA qualified professional with over 5+ years’ experience in a Financial Accounting role.

Your Background:

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5+ years experience in a Financial Accounting role.
• At least 3 years experience in the Not-for-Profit sector.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, tax legislation, and compliance requirements.
• Commercially minded with strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with government funding, grant acquittals, and audit processes.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
