About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Electrician to join our team at Expert Energy Tasmania. As a Qualified Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work for our commercial and residential clients solar PV and battery installations across Tasmania. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

Performing solar and battery installations, maintenance, and repairs to the highest standards

Install, wire, and commission solar PV systems and batteries

Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues

Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety regulations

Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken

Collaborating with the wider team to deliver successful projects

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications as a licensed Electrician

Solar qualifications preferred but not required

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety protocols

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and customer service abilities

Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer satisfaction

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

A clean driving licence and reliable transportation
