About the role

Latrobe Valley Home Support Services' is seeking an experienced In-home Podiatrist to join our dedicated team providing high-quality, compassionate care to our aged and disabled clients in the Latrobe Valley area. This part-time role will see you providing essential podiatry services to clients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their health, mobility and independence.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive podiatric assessments and developing personalised treatment plans for each client

Providing routine foot care including nail cutting, corn and callus treatment, and other preventative and therapeutic services

Identifying and managing foot-related issues, injuries, and conditions

Educating clients on proper foot health and self-care techniques

Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care

Adhering to all relevant professional standards, workplace policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia

Demonstrated experience providing high-quality, compassionate in-home podiatry services to our aged care clients

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilities

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

A current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
