HOUSEKEEPER/ TEAM LEADER

Club Macquarie and Macquarie 4Star has an opportunity for a self-motivated energetic person to join our team as a Housekeeper/ Team Leader at our 36 Room Macquarie 4Star Motel.

Macquarie 4Star at the northern tip of Lake Macquarie is an Award-Winning Facility adjoining Club Macquarie, where all Guests can safely & securely enjoy the facilities of a Licensed Club during their stay.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper/ Team Leader to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the Macquarie 4 Star property and its surrounds.

Key responsibilities include:

· Highly visual approach to the property’s cleanliness and maintenance

· Organization of all cleaner’s rooms and requirements

· Unpacking and storage of linen in an organized and efficient manner

· Assisting cleaners with the preparation of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to a high

standard as assigned

· Restocking guest amenities and room attendant trolleys ensuring efficient servicing of rooms

· Maintain high standards in the guest laundry and laundry responsibilities as required

· Monitoring and promptly reporting of any maintenance issues, along with carrying out maintenance issues

when and where capable

· Working efficiently to meet daily room requirements

· Dusting and cleaning of furniture, mirrors and glass areas

· Disposable of waste in a responsible manner

To be successful in this role, you will require:

· Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience at a high standard

· Be motivated, have a good eye and attention for detail

· Demonstrate excellent customer service skills

· Positive energy and physical fitness for a hands-on role

· Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules

· Availability Monday – Friday between the hours of 9am and 2pm, with weekend work required at times

· Health & Safety standards in relation to the handling of all equipment & chemicals

· Repairs & Maintenance capabilities will be looked upon favorable/ but not essential
