Essendon West - Rosehill Secondary College is seeking a passionate and experienced Product Design & Technology - Woodwork teacher to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in Niddrie, Victoria and will involve delivering engaging and impactful lessons to secondary school students. Please contact [email protected] for further information.

Position Requirement - Applicants must be qualified teachers with current VIT registration and full working rights with no Visa restrictions.

What you'll be doing

Designing and delivering stimulating Product Design & Technology - Woodwork lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students

Assessing and providing feedback to students to support their learning and skill development

Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and lesson plans

Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment in the workshop

Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practice

Attending staff meetings and contributing to the broader life of the school community

What we're looking for

Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching

Significant experience teaching Product Design & Technology - Woodwork at the secondary school level

Excellent knowledge of the Product Design & Technology curriculum and demonstrated ability to engage students

Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive, supportive learning environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, parents and colleagues

Passion for education and a genuine desire to see students succeed
