New Care Services is a Home Care and NDIS service provider working predominately in Melbourne's North and West. In Melbourne we have a significant number of Italian clients and if you can speak Italian to work with these clients this would be considered a considerable positive attribute. While the Enrolled Nurse (EN) will provide independent nursing care to individuals in their homes, they will be supported and be under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will also be supported by a comprehensive training program.

Key responsibilities of an Enrolled Nurse in home care will include:

Medication Management: Administering medications as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and timing, and monitoring for any adverse effects.

Personal Care: Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Wound Care: Providing wound care, including cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring for signs of infection.

Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly checking vital signs like temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.

Continence Management: Assisting with continence care, including catheter care and management of incontinence.

Health Monitoring: Observing and documenting any changes in the patient's physical or mental health, reporting these to the supervising RN.

Emotional Support: Providing emotional support and companionship to clients and their families.

Assisting with Mobility: Helping clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques to prevent falls and injuries.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of care provided, including observations, interventions, and client responses.
