We are seeking a HC Truck Driver for a multi drop delivery role based in one of our client sites in Toowoomba. Delivery drops will extend as far north as Rockhampton, west into the Biloela area and south to the Bundaberg region. The site operates 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) shift commences around 7:30am (most days), providing a base 38 hours work each week. Note: there is limited overtime available.

The work entails:

Driving a semi trailer (flat top) and use of a vehicle loading crane for supported unloading

Travelling in an around the Toowoomba region delivering steel products daily (multidrop deliveries)

Undertaking load restraint and ensuring product and equipment is safely restrained prior to travel

Conducting vehicle and equipment checks - to ensure safe to use

Daily paperwork

Skills you need / can develop in this role include:

Vehicle loading crane / Hi-ab experience (if you do not have a crane ticket , you must be willing and able to train and obtain one)

Sound knowledge of the greater Toowoomba area.

develop a good knowledge of steel products, load restraint and safe vehicle operations.

Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and Medical

Great customer service focus and approach

Driver fatigue and safety conscious mindset

The ability to work remotely and unsupervised

If successful, you will be given on the job training with our Cert 4 Driver Trainer. We are well known for our safety and driver fatigue focus and expect our drivers to comply with all areas of our Trucksafe accreditation.
