About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide educational expertise and day to day leadership in the delivery of medical education to prevocational medical graduates.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Advise the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) (or equivalent) of the educational needs of medical staff in PGYI and PGY2 in accordance with Australian Medical Council's National Framework for Prevocational (PGY1 and 2) Medical Training accreditation standards, the Medical Practitioners Registration Act 2001 and the Australian Curriculum Framework for Junior Doctors.
- Identify prevocational doctors' educational, professional and wellbeing needs and advise accordingly.
- Lead and take responsibility for the application and monitoring of an assessment framework that ensures valid methods of effective performance assessment in a manner consistent with the AMC National Framework.
- Identify and deliver training to the assessment review panel members to meet the AMC National Framework requirements.
- Identify, develop, implement and evaluate educational resource material for the Junior Doctor Training Program in a manner consistent with state-wide medical education strategies.
