Are you a motivated, adaptable and patient-focused professional looking for a varied and rewarding role in general practice? Eastlink Family Medical is seeking a casual dual-role team member to join our supportive and respectful clinic environment as an Enrolled Nurse and Receptionist.

About the Role

This casual position is a 50/50 split between nursing and administrative duties. You'll be part of a close-knit team, working alongside GPs, nurses and reception staff to ensure smooth day-to-day clinic operations.

Nursing responsibilities include:

Adult, child and travel immunisations

Assisting in procedures

Wound management

Chronic disease management

Health assessments

Care Plans

Infection control

Stock control

Reception duties include:

Acting as the first point of contact and greeting patients on arrival

Appointment scheduling

Answer the telephone in a courteous and professional manner

Collect patient information, while maintaining privacy

Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically

Enter data as required with a high level of accuracy

Bill and receipt patient accounts, Private/Medicare/DVA

Fax/Scan/File documents

Maintain a clean and tidy professional environment, including cleaning of the consult rooms between sessions

Liaise with GP's, other health professionals and their staff

What We're Looking For

AHPRA-registered Enrolled Nurse (essential)

General practice experience (preferred, not required)

Best Practice software knowledge (desirable)

Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Patient and practitioner-focused, with humility and adaptability

Highly motivated and goal-oriented with attention to detail
