The Role
Joining our client’s Construction and Services department, the Boilermaker plays a critical role in the construction and maintenance of all shared facilities throughout the wider organisation. This includes large-scale project work and minor repairs and maintenance on feed mill and processing facilities. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the Boilermaker’s key responsibilities include:

• Perform TIG, MIG, and stick welding on various material including Stainless Steel and Aluminium.
• Undertake general maintenance on various facilities including feed mills, conveyors, silos, pipes, elevators, stairways, and other access equipment.
• Partake in large-scale projects surrounding the construction of industrial sheds, milling plants, housing, and farming infrastructure.
• Contribute to continuous improvement strategies, professional training sessions, and safety workshops.

Skills & Experience

• Trade qualification in Heavy Fabrication or Light/Sheetmetal
• Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding
• Valid driver's license and Construction White Card
• Full Australian working rights
• Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP, or HR licence (desirable)
