About the Role – Industrial Electrician We’re seeking qualified and experienced Electricians to provide ongoing electrical service, maintenance, and upgrades across high-security data centres. This role is ideal for those experienced in critical environments who take pride in precision, compliance, and high-quality outcomes.

The position requirements include but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical repairs on low and high-voltage systems
• Respond to faults, alarms, and abnormal conditions using Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Conduct scheduled inspections and report on system performance
• Support capital improvement projects and electrical infrastructure upgrades
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards

To be considered for this role you should possess the following:

• A-Grade Electrical Licence (QLD)
• Strong background in electrical maintenance within critical environments (data centre, hospital, industrial, or defence sectors preferred)
• Sound knowledge of AS/NZS electrical standards
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and documentation
• Experience with BMS and backup power systems (UPS, generators) highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to undergo a police check and full medical
• Full working rights in Australia

Rates

$55-$70p/hr (depending on experience) + OT + super
