My client is a multi-disciplinary accounting firm located adjacent to Hawthorn Station, offering a mix of compliance, advisory, financial planning, and lending services. With a team of 20 staff, supported by offshore resources, they’re continuing to grow and they’re looking for a confident, capable Senior Accountant to join the business.

About the Role:

The position is a mix of compliance and advisory work, servicing a broad and interesting client base, including manufacturers,importers/exporters, engineering firms, and even a flower grower. You won’t be pigeonholed here — every day will bring a new challenge.

The firm currently uses APS but is transitioning to Xero, so cloud-based experience is valued. They operate in a high-trust environment where people are given autonomy, and career growth is based on merit, not tenure.

What They’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in public practice accounting
• Someone who is confident, autonomous, and takes responsibility for their work
• CA/CPA qualified or qualified by experience – they’re open to the right candidate
• Strong compliance skills and an appetite to grow in advisory
• A mature, grounded personality with excellent client-facing skills
• Must be willing to work primarily in-office – though 1 day WFH is available if budget targets are being met
