About the Opportunity
This is an entry level position with the Water Services team, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the council’s water, sewer, and stored stormwater infrastructure under supervision. This position in an essential service that requires compliance with the relevant legislation, Murray River Council Policies and Procedures in which training will be provided as part of the role.
What you need to be successful:
Mandatory
· Commitment to undertaking continuing professional development.
· Current Driver’s Licence
· National Police Check
· Pre-employment Medical
· Current First Aid Certificate
Desirable
· Confined Space Ticket
· Experience in backflow prevention
· Experience in Direct Digital Control systems
· Certificate III Sewerage Treatment
· Medium Rigid Truck Licence
