We believe that all young people matter, regardless of the circumstances they find themselves in. We empower young people to take control of their future by offering them the holistic support and opportunities they need to thrive.

Our schools are designed to re-engage and support students who have had difficulty attending mainstream education. Our goal is to ensure that students achieve relevant education certificates and possess the personal and social skills required to progress, be that TAFE, employment, training or an apprenticeship.

The Role

We are seeking a full-time Youth Worker to support and engage with young people attending our Youth Futures School in Caversham.

You will be passionate about re-engaging these students through the fostering of positive and professional relationships. You will provide case management and support to young people who are experiencing multiple barriers to engaging in education and support services.

You will be flexible and adaptive in response to the diverse challenges of working with at-risk young people in an educational setting, ensuring your practice is consistent with cultural, gender, developmental and other individual needs. You will be comfortable working one-on-one with young people as well as being able to facilitate group activities and skill development sessions.
