About the Role:

H People is on the hunt for multiple skilled Forklift Operators to join our team at a busy sheet metal facility in Richlands on Day Shift. This isn’t your average forklift gig – you'll be moving long, awkward, and heavy freight, including ugly sheet metal products that require precision, care, and confidence behind the controls.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✅ Operating forklifts safely to move long and irregular sheet metal products

✅ Loading and unloading trucks, storage racks, and production lines

✅ Securing and transporting oversized and awkward loads

✅ Keeping warehouse and work areas clean and organised

✅ Supporting inventory and materials management

✅ Working closely with the production team to hit daily targets

What You’ll Need:

🔹 Proven forklift experience (LF licence required)

🔹 Comfortable handling ugly, oversized freight in tight spaces

🔹 Ability to pass a drug & alcohol screen and pre-employment medical

🔹 Must have full Australian work rights

🔹 Strong awareness of safety procedures and load handling

🔹 Physically fit and capable of moving heavy materials

🔹 A team player with clear communication and attention to detail
