Support autistic individuals with high needs in stable home settings.

Sydney Health & Care Services (SHCS) is seeking experienced and resilient Residential Care Workers to support participants with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

This role involves working with clients who may display aggressive or challenging behaviours, so experience in behavioural support and a calm, confident approach are essential.

About the Role:

Part-time: 20–30+ hrs per week

Hands-on support for autistic adults with high behavioural needs

Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans

Assist with personal care, routines, and daily living skills

Work across multiple SIL homes

Respond safely and effectively to escalated behaviours

You’ll Need:

Experience with Autism and aggressive behaviours

Calm, confident, and trauma-informed approach

Cert III or IV in Disability/Individual Support (or equivalent experience)

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid & CPR

Driver’s Licence + reliable vehicle

COVID-19 & Flu vaccination (per health guidelines)
