Dermaq Aesthetics is seeking a passionate, friendly and reliable Registered Nurse to be part of a well established team in two premium locations. As part of this role you will receive extensive one-on-one training in all areas of cosmetic injectables. This position offers flexible scheduling based on your availability and experience. Candidates will either begin with a 16-hour per week training period (lasting up to one month) before transitioning to full-time (38 hours), or start directly in the full-time role if they have sufficient relevant experience.

The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term career in this industry, has excellent presentation, a great bedside manner, works well as part of a tight-knit team and is capable of performing multiple roles within a small but growing company. They have exceptionally strong theoretical knowledge, great clinical skills, and write fluently and professionally. You must be willing to work at least some weekend days, typically this is one weekend a fortnight.

Competitive candidates will have a resume and cover letter tailored to the cosmetic nurse role that we are offering. While we expect to see some hospital placements and clinical hours, a degree of aesthetics experience and training is key to bringing the necessary skills to this position.

You should have some experience with cosmetic injectables, whether that is a training course or previous work experience. This helps to demonstrate your commitment to this career path.

We have two clinics, one in South Yarra and one in Port Melbourne. This position is primarily for Port Melbourne, but you may be expected to work days at either location.

Starting Pay

Weekdays: $50.40 per hour, inclusive of superannuation

Comprised of $45 per hour + $5.40 per hour superannuation

Additional pay on weekends

Bonuses and other performance based incentives available

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor of Nursing

AHPRA registered

Introductory training or knowledge

Outstanding professional and communication skills

Managing patient bookings

Conducting consultations and educating patients

Replying to patient enquiries and phone calls

Taking payments

Anti-wrinkle injections (face)

Muscle relaxant for migraines and bruxism

Lip filler (HA)

Facial dermal fillers

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) face, hair, neck/chest

Fat dissolving injections

Administration of other cosmetic medicines e.g. Rejuran, Sculptra
