We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Officer to join our team!
What You Will Do:
If you are passionate about live music, theatre, festivals, and the arts, this is your chance to make an impact. As our Marketing and Communications Officer, you will lead dynamic campaigns that drive awareness, boost attendance, and deepen community engagement across a vibrant mix of cultural programs and venues. Working closely with creative teams and stakeholders, you will provide expert guidance and deliver compelling communications that support the delivery of our artistic and community programs.
What We Are Looking For:
Tertiary qualifications in the disciplines of marketing OR appropriate skills and or high-level experience in marketing and promotion of arts venues and activities.
High level experience in professional writing communications such as public relations, brand communication, journalism, and/or marketing.
Substantial experience in social media management and development of engaging creative content.
Creativity and innovation: Able to generate new ideas and draw on a range of information sources to identify opportunities, actively promotes and translates creative ideas into practice and reflects on experience and is open to new ways of doing this to improve results.
Understanding of and an interest in the arts industry.
Write effective, on brand, professional copy for, but not limited to, media releases, magazines, websites, social media and reports.
Ability to produce successful e-marketing and other direct marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated high level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
