About the role

Paddy Smith Roofing Pty Ltd, a small family run business in Orange, NSW, is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Roofer to join our team. As a Commercial Roofer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various roofing systems, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction. This a casual role with potential of fulltime work for the right candidate. Work is based in Orange and the central west. Travel is required to jobs outside of Orange and transport and accommodation will be provided for works over a certain distance.

What you'll be doing

Installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial roofing materials, metal sheets, and flashings including all types of metal guttering

Collaborating with the team to ensure the efficient and timely completion of roofing projects

Adhering to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Roofer

Must have white card, working at heights and an EWP ticket.

Strong technical skills in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various roofing systems

Willingness to travel for work

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve roofing issues

Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations and best practices

Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed
