Nova Cura means New Care. Physiotherapy is the treating of an ailment while constantly acknowledging the personal and mental wellbeing of the patient. It needs to be understood that Physiotherapy requires the practitioner to consider equally the mental and physical state of the patient as a symbiotic relationship delivering the patient towards good overall health.

The Physiotherapist must present a demeanour that is courteous and engaging to personally connect with the patient and, where possible, lift them emotionally. If a Physiotherapist does not objectively consider the mental wellbeing of their patient while in their immediate care, they are not doing their job.

This understanding requires the practitioner to constantly consider the two factors, mental and physical as the foundation of a person’s best possibility to move towards being healthy and balanced.

There is no other medical profession that constantly and overall considers the patient in this manner. This is the crux of all Physiotherapy and this is Nova Cura.

Nova Cura Physiotherapy provides community-based physiotherapy services to privately and publicly funded individuals across Adelaide. With a strong focus on supporting people living with a disability, we offer care tailored to a range of needs, including disability, ageing, injury recovery, and chronic conditions. Our services also extend to residents in an aged care facility in Pennington.

About you:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist to join our growing team.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

· Current AHPRA registration

· Valid National Police Check (within the last 3 years)

· Aged Care Worker Screening clearance (valid for 3 years)

· NDIS Worker Screening Check (valid for 5 years)

· Current First aid and CPR certification

· Professional indemnity and Public Liability Insurance

· Access to your own vehicle

· A willingness to work across a broad scope, including disability, aged care and general musculoskeletal practice

Please note: while not all requirements are essential at the time of application, they must be obtained prior to commencing the role.

Hours: 15–20 hours per week to start, with the potential for increased hours as the caseload grows
