About the Role:

Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced accountant/s.

Working closely with supportive Partners and Managers, you will gain exposure to a variety of corporate insolvency and restructuring appointments. You'll play an active role within engagements, contributing directly to successful outcomes for all stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

Undertake comprehensive financial analysis to assess the viability of businesses in distress

Prepare detailed reports on a company's financial position and recommend appropriate restructuring or insolvency options

Manage the administration of insolvency appointments, including liaising with creditors, courts and other stakeholders

Identify and pursue recoveries of assets for the benefit of creditors

Provide expert guidance to clients on their obligations and options under insolvency legislation

Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative insolvency solutions

Supervise and mentor more junior members of the insolvency team

About You:

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable experienced accountant eager to contribute to a high-performing firm. You will ideally possess:

Experience:

2 plus years' relevant experience gained in one of the following areas:

A dedicated Insolvency/Restructuring practice, or

An Audit or Business Services role, demonstrating analytical skills and an interest in transitioning to insolvency.

Qualifications:

A relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g. Accounting, Commerce, Finance).

Hold (or be actively working towards) your CA or CPA qualification.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective liaison with diverse stakeholders.

High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, essential for this field.

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage tasks independently.

Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced and often sensitive environment.
