Are you a motivated and enthusiastic junior doctor looking to advance your training in a highly supportive and accredited teaching environment? We are currently seeking multiple Basic Physician Trainees (BPT) and Service Registrars to join a major public hospital in northern Tasmania.

• Accredited Level III RACP Basic Training program

Gastroenterology Respiratory
Haematology Infectious Diseases
Endocrinology Oncology
Palliative Care Renal

Rehabilitation

Academic & Exam Support

The program includes weekly BPT tutorials, Grand Rounds, Journal Clubs, and extensive support for written and clinical FRACP exams. Short and long case preparation is delivered by experienced local and national examiners, several of whom are part of the RACP National Examining Panel.

Research Opportunities

Trainees are encouraged to participate in active clinical research with the support of an on-site research foundation. Grants are available to eligible trainees.

Eligibility Requirements

• Service registrars (Provisional/limited registration considered)
• Basic physician trainees (PGY2+ with general registration)
