This boutique, positive and encouraging service is excited to welcome a paediatric occupational therapist to their experienced, committed team. With referrals across the age range, they welcome your valued, unique expertise in Paediatric Occupational Therapy. In your role, you will be joining a team of highly experienced healthcare professionals who are a delight to work alongside. There is an office space for your desired usage as well as many resources available.
The Role:
Undertake assessments and provide intervention, liaising with families, teachers & other relevant stakeholders.
Interventions will be carried out in the community (homes, schools, childcare centres etc).
Interventions will have a focus on evidence-based practice with a tailored approach to suit your client and their individual goals
Participate in a range of other duties to suit you interest and desired areas of growth
Requirements:
Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration)
Desire to work in a paediatric Occupational Therapy setting.
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging.
Current driver’s license and car
Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS worker screening clearance, Children's First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these)
