Cabinetmaker – Full-time - Exciting Northern Beaches Lifestyle
Our company is a highly reputable custom joinery business based in Brookvale (close to beaches and the hub of craft brewers). Locally owned and operated for over five years, we have experienced steady business growth and look forward to welcoming people to the team who enjoy job security. We are looking for a Cabinetmaker(s) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to combine a fabulous lifestyle with a satisfying job. You will be integral to a progressive, caring team of motivated craftspeople. Our business has been growing strongly, and we need to expand our team.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Minimum two years of trade experience
- Full-time role
- Experience working in a factory and on-site for joinery installations
- Knowledge of materials, hardware, and joinery-related products
- Experience with CNC machines.
- Experience in drafting and design of bespoke cabinetry would be an advantage.
- Attention to detail, ability to problem solve, use initiative
- Ability to work independently and work to scheduled timeframes
- Drivers Licence
- Relevant Trade Qualification Certificates (Certificate III in Cabinet Making) or progressing to qualification
- Be punctual and reliable
- A commitment and knowledge of sound WHS principles
The role will include:
- On-site joinery installation
- Assembling & making cabinets, including fitting hardware
- Working with materials such as timber, veneers and particle board
- Interpreting plans, drawings and cutting lists
- Using hand/power tools and machinery in the factory
- Varied factory work
- Maintenance of joinery machinery and keeping workspace neat and clean
- Working in excellent working conditions in a friendly team environment
- Flexible, mutually beneficial hours can also be negotiated for the right candidate.
