Treehouse Paediatrics is a thriving multidisciplinary paediatric allied health practice providing Neurodiversity Affirming supports to kids 0-16. We are an innovative team working to grow our emerging practice to be a market leader in quality paediatric care. We only do paeds, and we do paeds well.

Treehouse Paediatrics provides physiotherapy, OT, speech pathology, podiatry, art therapy, exercise physiology and Allied Health Assistant services to kids. We currently have 5 speech pathologists within our team and would love to expand what we are able to offer to families. We also provide neurodiversity affirming training and run small groups.

About the role

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to do the following:

Provide SP supports to children 0 - 16 years old in a variety of settings, using a family centred and neurodiversity affirming approach.

Provide supports to both NDIS funded and private paying kids

Participate in Autism assessment- we will train you!

Provide standardised assessments and reports when required

Work collaboratively with the internal and external team to provide optimal supports and outcomes for children and their families

Provide Allied Health student supervision and clinical supervision to more junior staff when required (dependent upon experience)

Participate in in-services and meetings

Assist in developing evidence based group programs

Required

Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology

Willingness to work under a Neurodiversity Affirming framework

Registration with Speech Pathology Australia

Experience in paediatric speech pathology is a bonus but not essential

Passion for paediatrics and willingness to further develop skills

Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
