Waypoints Café is located within the Trails & Visitor Centre in Dwellingup, Australia’s Top Tiny Tourism Town awarded in 2023. We are a small family business who have been operating within the tourism sector of Dwellingup for almost 30 years as ‘Dwellingup Adventures’. With our recent changes from Cafe to Bakery Cafe, and growth plans for the future, we are looking for a dedicated and creative Bakery Cafe All Rounder to join our friendly team!

About The Position (Bakery Cafe All Rounder)

We are seeking someone who will be highly motivated and driven to independently fulfil the day-to-day operations of our Bakery Café. Our ideal candidate will;

have a vibrant, welcoming and friendly aura with a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service,

maintain a consistent high standard of food and drinks being served,

work well under pressure and with a proactive attitude in the quieter periods,

demonstrate good organisation and time management skills with the ability to work autonomously,

be confident in using a POS system,

lead by example and with professionalism at all times,

be flexible and able to work some weekends, public holidays and school holidays,

have a hard-working, can-do attitude and will go the extra mile for the good of the team.

About You

Essential;

a minimum of two years’ experience in a barista position,

experience in basic kitchen operations,

Advantageous;

a creative edge and the ability to bring fresh ideas,

show an interest in the outdoors and have a knowledge or be willing to learn about the Dwellingup Trails.
