TA Welder and Fabricator

Our client is a locally family run business that has been operating for over 10 years who specialise in building heavy duty trailers for the trade industry. The Role:

As a Trade Assistant Welder, you will be part of a small workshop team, assembling Trailers and Ute canopies. Assisting in metalwork tasks whilst professionally engaging with clients on a regular basis to provide a rewarding and satisfactory experience.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship
• Assisting with basic welding; TIG & MIG and fabrication on mechanical/metalwork tasks
• Flexibility to handle varied tasks and meet production deadlines
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Maintaining a high standard of work and attention to detail

Criteria:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role with a track record of delivering high quality work.
• Trade certificate: 2nd class Boiler Maker/ Fabricator/ Welding (desirable not essential)
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, specifications and assembly instructions.
• Basic 12v Wiring, able to identify 12v wiring colours
• Highrisk: Forklift Licence (Required)
• C Class Licence minimum (Required)
• White Card
• Physically fit and have ability to lift 20Kgs
• National Police Clearance & ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol.
