The Opportunity:
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a strong Heavy-Duty Fitting background for a 2:1 FIFO position. This is an initial 4-month opportunity with the potential for extension, offering an immediate start and a competitive rate of $90 per hour. You’ll be stepping into a hands-on leadership role, overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations and ensuring high standards of performance and safety on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Servicing Komatsu PC 1250, Cat 777 / 16M / D10 gear
• Up to date record keeping
• Ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.
• Mentor, train and coach team members while evaluating team skills and performance and develop team capabilities.

Key Requirements:

• Relevant Trade Qualification (HD Fitters preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role within mobile maintenance
• Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, particularly PC 1250, Cat 777 / 16M / D10 gear
• Current C or HR class licence
• Schedule 26 holder
• Valid National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including Drug and Alcohol screen
