DSQ’s Warana office on the Sunshine Coast is looking for a dedicated survey student to work alongside our experienced and qualified Surveyors providing assistance on a wide variety of projects and tasks.

DSQ Pty Ltd provides land surveying services to the government, corporate and public sectors. Currently working on projects throughout Australia on various residential and industrial land developments, high-rise units, government infrastructure, infrastructure projects and hydrographic surveys. Employing state of the art survey equipment and software and powered by the best people in the industry, we pride ourselves on the high level of service that we provide to our clients.

Our team has professional expertise over many years in all areas of surveying, GIS and land management. We have offices at Warana (Sunshine Coast), Chinchilla and Dalby (Western Downs) and Toowoomba.

The ideal candidate will be a survey student who is passionate about a career in surveying and wants to learn hands-on alongside our highly valuable Surveyors.

The Survey Student/Assistant position will be Monday to Friday on a 9/day fortnight work schedule to support a healthy work, life and study balance. DSQ are flexible and able to support additional time off when required for studying and practical assessments. You would be working local to the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, with the ability to occasionally work away to support projects. The position is available in July with flexibility to start at a later date for the right candidate. All level of skills and experience are encouraged to apply, remuneration is based on experience level and expertise.

Duties include, assisting Surveyors to collect field data, data reductions, general office duties, stock control and general maintenance of equipment and vehicles.

To be considered for this position, you must:

· Hold a current Australian Driver's License

· Construction Industry White Card (or willing to obtain)

· Be committed to working safely, ensuring the safety of your co-workers and the public

· Reside in the local Sunshine Coast or surrounding areas with a right to work in Australia
