We’re looking for a Member Care Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to grow their career and make a real difference in people’s lives.
As a Member Care Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting members with accounts in arrears. This role goes beyond collections - it’s about identifying solutions, providing genuine care, and guiding our members through financial hardship with empathy and professionalism.
You’ll work in a collaborative team environment, contribute to meaningful outcomes, and gain valuable experience in financial hardship, credit, and customer care.
In a typical day, you’ll get to:
- Engage with members to follow up on outstanding debts in a respectful, supportive way
- Conduct hardship assessments and offering tailored support
- Meet service standards, KPIs, and department goals
- Collaborate with team members to find the best outcomes for our members
- Help our members stay on top of their financial wellbeing.
About you
- Previous experience in credit control, collections, financial hardship, or similar
- A strong ability to communicate with empathy and clarity
- Confidence in having sometimes challenging conversations with care
- A strong understanding (or willingness to learn) of privacy, lending, and debt collection regulations
- A commitment to creating positive member experiences - even in tough situations.
