About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sales Assistant to join our valued Bedshed Midland team. Passionate about customer service, we are looking for a conscientious team member who can contribute to the overall success of the store.

In this role you will be determining customer’s needs and managing their expectations through high quality service and expert product knowledge. This involves listening closely and understanding their questions, sourcing appropriate stock (in store or via delivery) and closing the point of sale with a satisfied customer.

You will also work on maintaining store presentation, including updating, rotating and ticketing stock, to ensure ease of access for customers and optimum sales at all times.

What else

Flexibility with availability and working hours is essential as some evenings, weekend and public holiday work will be required.

Currently available: Long term part time. Ideally we are looking for someone to work weekends and Thursday nights. Sat 9-5pm, Sun 11-5pm, Thu 11.30-8pm. We are flexible, because getting the right person for our team is most important.

Qualifications:

Required

A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales

Exceptional negotiating skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Have an extremely high attention to customer service

Be flexible with rosters and available for weekend work

Great computer skills
