About the role

Woodcroft Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team on a casual basis in our Woodcroft location. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated healthcare team and contribute to the overall well-being of the local community.

What you'll be doing

Providing direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.

Assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualised care plans, and evaluating patient progress.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless and effective patient care.

Participating in ongoing professional development and education to stay informed of the latest nursing practices and techniques.

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Enrolled or Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a General Practice (highly desirable).

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare technology.
