About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Balwyn North Discount Drug Store as a full-time Pharmacy Assistant - Stock Controller. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy and maintaining high levels of stock control. This position is based in our Balwyn North, VIC.

What you'll be doing

• Accurately processing and managing pharmacy stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, such as customer service, medication dispensing, and general administrative tasks
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy regulations and standards
• Providing excellent customer service to patients and liaising with other healthcare professionals
• Participating in regular stock takes and reporting on inventory status
• Supporting the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager in various duties as required

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar stock control or customer service role within the healthcare industry
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A commitment to providing high-quality customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor
• Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, procedures, and stock management best practices
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office applications
