Workshop Support Labourer - Immediate Start | Leading Waste Management Provider | Willawong, QLD

Our client is a national leader in clinical, pharmaceutical, commercial, and industrial waste management. Established in 1993 and located in Willawong, south of Brisbane, they've grown into one of the most specialised providers in their field - operating the largest incinerator in the Southern Hemisphere!

They are currently seeking a reliable, mechanically minded Workshop Support Labourer to join their dynamic team immediately.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist tradespeople and workshop technicians with mechanical repairs and servicing
• Support in maintaining plant and incinerator components
• Conduct basic mechanical assembly and disassembly of parts and machinery
• Carry out general workshop duties including cleaning, organising tools and equipment
• Operate tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently
• Forklift operations when required
• Maintain clean and orderly workshop conditions

What We're Looking For:

• High-Risk Forklift Licence (Essential)
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a National Police Check
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination
• Ability to commit to a 38-hour week: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:36pm
• Own transport and valid driver's licence
• Previous experience in similar roles and/or solid mechanical aptitude highly regarded
