About the role

We are seeking experienced Traffic Controllers / Crew Leaders to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a casual role, providing the flexibility to work around your other commitments. As a Traffic Controller / Crew Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe passage of vehicles and pedestrians through construction sites and roadworks.

What you'll be doing

Directing and controlling traffic flow at construction sites and roadworks

Setting up and maintaining traffic management signage and devices

Monitoring and maintaining a safe work environment for workers and the public

Providing leadership and guidance to a team of traffic controllers

Communicating effectively with site managers, workers, and the general public

Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and procedures

Need to be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Traffic Controller or Crew Leader, with a strong understanding of traffic management principles

Valid Traffic Controller certification and a current driver's licence

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
