An occupational therapist with AT & home mods experience highly desirable!
What you need
Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy
AHPRA registration or equivalent
National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check &/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain these)
Australian driver's license and access to a car.
Key responsibilities
Conduct NDIS assessments to accurately determine participant needs.
Provide therapeutic support to NDIS participants, fostering their independence and well-being and improving their functional capacity.
Compile comprehensive NDIS reports, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and Home Modifications
Engage with participants, their families, and other support networks to understand and assist in achieving their individual goals.
Collaborate effectively with internal and external multidisciplinary team members.
Foster positive working relationships to ensure seamless coordination of care for NDIS participants.
Diligently complete all administrative tasks, including timely and accurate clinical notes.
Adhere to medico-legal requirements, maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Develop educational materials relevant to occupational therapy.
Design and deliver training resources for continuous professional development.
This position requires a dedicated Occupational Therapist committed to delivering outstanding services within the framework of the NDIS. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and success of Belong Healthcare by maintaining a high standard of care, engaging with stakeholders effectively, and actively participating in ongoing professional development.
