Senior HSEQ Advisor required for a permanent hire position!

Large-scale civils project in the defence sector.

Previous defence experience and security clearance is essential.

This contractor-side role is based in REGIONAL NSW and is to be hired on a Drive-In-Drive-Out basis.

Monday to Friday 5/2 roster unless you are within a commutable distance.

FIFO may be considered but is not the preferred option.

Work under the guidance of a national contracting business with robust systems and processes

Senior position - high level of responsibility whilst remaining 'boots on ground'

Your Role:
As the site-based Safety Advisor, you will:

Lead on-site health, safety, and environmental compliance across all phases of the project

Work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure safe work practices

Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and safety briefings

Investigate incidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions

Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and reporting

Champion a positive safety culture on site—proactive, not reactive

About You:

Experience in large-scale civil construction, contractor-side

Confident communicator with the ability to influence and guide site teams

WHS qualification

Familiarity with working under defence specifications
