Looking for more than just another OSHC role?
At Leapkids, we do things differently.
We’re a proudly family-owned and operated provider of Outside School Hours Care — local, values-driven, and built on genuine relationships with children, families, and schools. Unlike large corporate providers, we offer a people-first culture, where your voice matters and your role has real impact.
We’re now looking for an experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead our well-established Northcote service. If you’re passionate about child-led programming, community connection, and making a difference — this is the role for you.
Why Join Leapkids?
✅ Family-owned and operated – not a franchise or big chain
✅ Hands-on, personable leadership that listens and supports
✅ Paid non-contact hours and autonomy to lead your service
✅ Real opportunities for growth and career progression
✅ Warm, inclusive culture with a focus on people and relationships
✅ Discounted care for your own primary school-aged children
About the Role

- Designing engaging, child-led programs based on children’s interests
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, families, and the school
- Leading a small team with warmth and professionalism
- Maintaining compliance, documentation, and safety standards
About You
You’re an experienced and confident educator with a warm, approachable style. You value connection, leadership, and the opportunity to shape a service that truly reflects its community.

Experience in an OSHC or Early Childhood leadership role
A Diploma in School Age Education and Care (or equivalent)
A strong working knowledge of the NQF and MTOP framework
Excellent communication, planning and team leadership skills
Current WWCC, First Aid, Anaphylaxis/Asthma, and Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain)
