What you’ll be doing
At our Serpentine Jarrahdale OSHC, you can expect to be welcomed by a warm, close-knit school community. As our new Supervisor, you’ll lead the way at one of our vibrant Metro OSHC services in the Byford area—managing daily operations, supporting a fantastic team of educators, and ensuring compliance and budgets are on track through strong, supportive leadership. Alongside our passionate Qualified and Assistant Educators, together you’ll help bring our before and after school care and vacation programs to life—encouraging children to get involved in creative activities, supervising them with care, and stepping in when needed. You’ll help maintain safe ratios, create a nurturing environment, and even hop behind the wheel of our mini bus for those all-important school drop-offs and pick-ups. With regular activities, exciting excursions, and happy Y kids, it’s no wonder working at Y OSHC is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable jobs around!
You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have an ACECQA approved qualification; Certificate IV in children’s studies, Diploma in Children’s Services (0-14), Bachelor of Education or equivalent. (Overseas qualification must be assessed by ACECQA)
- Have previously led (or mentored) a team of educators
- Have familiarity with the OSHC fun dynamic environment
- Can obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
- Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
- Previous experience and/or confidence in driving a 12-seater van/minibus safely
- Hold a current C class driver’s license
